Connect Mixmax to Claude or ChatGPT
One URL and a sign-in. Then eight ready-made Skills put your real Mixmax meetings, transcripts, and sequence data to work in Claude or ChatGPT.
Setup
Connect the MCP server
MCP is the standard that lets an AI assistant connect to an outside tool — and, unlike a bare API, it describes your data well enough that the assistant knows what to do with it. There is no code and no API key — you paste one URL, sign in, and add the Skills further down the page.

Skills
Eight ready-made Skills for Claude and ChatGPT
You install them alongside the connector, and each one walks your assistant through a specific sales workflow. Six pull real data from Mixmax and read it the way a good rep would. The other two use that same data to build and launch a sequence for you. They're grouped below by where they fit in your day, and they do three things at once:
- They keep your assistant on Mixmax as the source of truth for meeting transcripts, summaries, and sequence data, instead of Google Calendar or another connected tool.
- Between them they build sales methodology into the output (MEDDIC qualification, follow-up cadence timing, sequence benchmarks, objection categorization), so what comes back reads the way a good manager would read it instead of as raw data.
- They ask before they act. Nothing is sent, logged, or launched until you say so, and the two that build sequences check whether the contact is already enrolled first.
Skills work in Claude and in ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, Skills are available on Business, Enterprise, Healthcare, and Edu plans. Open Plugins, go to the Skills tab, select Create, then Upload from your computer. OpenAI’s guide to Skills in ChatGPT has the details.
Set up
Mixmax MCP Quick Start
You connect Mixmax and see it work in the first five minutes, on your own meetings and your own sequences. No setup manual, no waiting on onboarding. Just the tool doing something useful right away.
Best practice
Runs a real query against your own meetings or sequences the moment you connect, then walks through the handful of workflows that save the most time. A working demo on your data, not a feature tour.
Prospecting
Prospect Enrollment Check
Before you hit send, know whether you’re about to double-email someone. Mixmax checks their sequence status, their meeting history, and how they’ve engaged with you before, so your next email lands right instead of landing twice.
Best practice
Pulls engagement history in the same pass, because “not enrolled” doesn’t mean cold. Someone who opened two of your last three emails isn’t a cold prospect, even with no meeting on the books.
Outbound Sequence Creation
Outbound that sounds like a person wrote it, because a person’s judgment built it. Mixmax reads what it already knows about the account, picks the right angle, and holds the first email for you to send yourself.
Best practice
One sequence per contact, with real personalization instead of merge tokens. It can’t verify a title or confirm someone still works there, and it says so in the recap instead of presenting a guess as fact.
Inbound Demo Reengagement
A demo that fell through isn’t a dead lead. Mixmax builds the right follow-up for exactly what happened (declined, no-show, gone quiet) and gets a real meeting back on the calendar.
Best practice
Checks for an existing sequence and prior history first, so nobody gets enrolled twice, then builds a five-step email and LinkedIn cadence tuned to what went wrong. The last email ends in a breakup poll, not another check-in.
Sequence Performance Analyst
See exactly where your sequence is losing people, not just that it’s underperforming. Mixmax breaks it down stage by stage and tells you what to change, backed by your own numbers.
Best practice
Benchmarks against your account’s own history instead of an industry number pulled from nowhere, so the advice holds up when someone asks where it came from.
Meetings
Pre-Meeting Prep
Walk into your deal review already knowing where things stand. Mixmax turns your meeting history into a MEDDIC brief, evidence and all, so you spend the review solving problems instead of hunting for context.
Best practice
Backs every MEDDIC claim with a transcript quote, and the gaps are the point: “No economic buyer has attended a meeting” tells you exactly what to fix before the review.
Meeting Follow-Up Generator
Stop staring at a blank compose window after a call. Mixmax pulls what was actually said and writes a follow-up that proves you were listening, not a template with a name swapped in.
Best practice
Opens on a specific line the prospect said, not “great connecting today.” Under 200 words, no sales jargon, and it tells you when to switch channel instead of sending a third email in a row.
Weekly Meeting Digest
Start your week already caught up. Mixmax rolls up every meeting from the last seven days into one digest: what happened, what’s still open, and which accounts need you now.
Best practice
Sorts action items by how overdue they are and flags accounts that have gone quiet despite an open deal. Reps get the week at a glance. Managers get deal risk and coaching signals across the team.
Custom

Under the hood
The methodology built into the Skills
The eight Skills differ in what they do. Six read your Mixmax data and report back, and two build sequences from it. These are the sales methods built into them, so you never have to spell any of it out in the prompt. The Mixmax-first directive is in the six that read your data, and the two that build sequences run on the Mixmax MCP alone. The other methods belong to the Skills that need them.
| Built-in feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Mixmax-first directive | Every Skill that reads your data tells your assistant to always use Mixmax MCP tools for meeting data, transcripts, and sequence metrics. It points your assistant at Mixmax rather than Google Calendar when the answer is in Mixmax. |
| Ask before acting | Five of the Skills finish by offering to log tasks or set reminders, and Meeting Follow-Up Generator also offers to send the email. None of it happens unless you say yes to that specific thing. Mixmax MCP Quick Start only runs read-only queries live. |
| MEDDIC qualification | Pre-Meeting Prep structures a review around Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Criteria, Decision Process, Identified Pain, and Champion, with evidence pulled from transcripts. |
| Follow-up spacing | Meeting Follow-Up Generator spaces follow-ups rather than stacking them, and suggests switching channel after a couple of unanswered touches instead of sending another email. |
| Sequence benchmarking | Sequence Performance Analyst reads your own stage-by-stage reply, open, and bounce rates and says which stage is losing people. Gives a specific fix, not just the metric. |
| Objection framework | Prospect Enrollment Check sorts what a prospect pushed back on into five kinds (money, time, need, trust, competition) and tailors the outreach it recommends to the one in front of you. |
| Risk signal detection | Pre-Meeting Prep flags the deals that are drifting: no economic buyer named, nothing new in weeks, one contact holding the whole thing up, a timeline nobody has committed to, action items you owe. |
| Enrollment check | Inbound Demo Reengagement and Outbound Sequence Creation check whether the contact is already in an active sequence before they build anything, and stop if they are, so nobody gets enrolled twice. |
| Warm-or-cold routing | Outbound Sequence Creation reads past meetings, engagement history, and sequence enrollment to tell an existing relationship from a cold prospect, then angles the copy to match. |
| Launch safeguards | Outbound Sequence Creation makes the first email a manual send, so nothing goes out until you work it. Inbound Demo Reengagement checks with you before it launches, unless you have already told it to. Both say plainly when they can’t verify a contact’s title. |
| Breakup poll | Inbound Demo Reengagement ends its five-step cadence with a one-click poll (interested, reach out in a few months, or not now) instead of one more unanswered check-in. |
Day-one prompts
Which Skills each prompt uses
Five day-one prompts, with the Skills each one leans on and who it is for.
Prompt 1: “Start My Day”
- Skills used
- Weekly Meeting Digest + Meeting Follow-Up Generator
- Who it’s for
- Sales rep
- What it does
- Weekly Meeting Digest supplies the account themes and the action items nobody closed out. Meeting Follow-Up Generator turns each one into a draft that leads with a specific insight rather than “thanks for your time,” and spaces the next touch three to seven days out instead of stacking another email on an unanswered thread. Your open tasks and unanswered sequence replies come straight off the connector, so no Skill is needed for those.
Prompt 2: “Everything on This Account”
- Skills used
- Pre-Meeting Prep + Prospect Enrollment Check
- Who it’s for
- Sales rep
- What it does
- Pre-Meeting Prep assembles the MEDDIC picture from direct transcript quotes. Prospect Enrollment Check adds who on the invite is already mid-sequence, which sequence, what stage, and when their next email sends, so nobody on your team steps on the meeting.
Prompt 3: “Fix My Sequence”
- Skills used
- Sequence Performance Analyst
- Who it’s for
- Sales rep, RevOps
- What it does
- The Analyst reads your stage-level open, reply, and bounce rates against each other, which is what sorts a drop-off into a subject-line problem, a copy problem, or a list problem. It also flags cadences that are too short or too bunched, and writes two A/B variants for the weakest stage.
Prompt 4: “Prep Me for Pipeline Review”
- Skills used
- Pre-Meeting Prep
- Who it’s for
- Sales manager
- What it does
- Pre-Meeting Prep applies the risk rules above and ranks your deals against them. Each one comes back rated, with the transcript line that triggered the flag.
Prompt 5: “Coach My Reps”
- Skills used
- Weekly Meeting Digest + Sequence Performance Analyst
- Who it’s for
- Sales manager
- What it does
- The Digest surfaces the coaching patterns across a week of calls: calls that ended with no next step, objections that keep repeating, deals with one person in the room. The Analyst benchmarks each rep’s stages against the team’s, so the pattern and the number arrive together.

-
Sequences
Launch outreach without building it by hand Describe the play in a sentence and get back a cadence, an enrolled list, and the names of everyone who replied. Read the playbook -

Meetings
Walk in briefed. Walk out with the follow-up written Your agent writes the brief before the call and the recap after it, both from what was actually said rather than what you remember. Read the playbook -
Tasks & reminders
Stop carrying your commitments in your head Ask what’s due and get one list, overdue first. Hand over the calls and to-dos you owe, and set a nudge that fires only if they never write back. Read the playbook
